If I have put on a clear adhesive bandage please leave on for 3-5 days. If the bandage is excessively weeping blood plasma in the first 24 hours I would change it to the second piece. If I did not give you a second piece its because it won't require one and please leave this on. (Some blood plasma accumulation is helpful for healing.)

When you have reached 5 days take the bandage off at the end of your shower. Wash it off with non-scented or mild soap. Pump soaps are the best as they don't accumulate bacteria. Pat dry with a paper towel NOT a towel (even if they are clean they can still harbor bacteria.) When fully dry put a small "chap-stick" layer of ointment and massage gently into the tattoo.
